So... I want to preface this by saying I had a pretty terrible initial experience with Sky & Sol. For my first purchase, they sent me the wrong product, and it took forever to get it sorted out.
I was pretty miffed, so this was almost the end of my story with this company. However, I'm glad it wasn't.
I decided to take a chance attempting a second purchase - so I went ahead and bought their SPF50+, which is what I originally wanted.
There is no denying this is a GREAT product. You can use it under makeup, it is buttery and melts easily into the skin. Not at all slippery or sticky like other sunscreens. And their bold claim to 'no whitecast' is basically true. Which is amazing.
Not only this, but the sunscreen actually protects. I used it in the middle of the day, on holiday in the high summer sun in Perth, Western Australia. Since Perth is directly under areas where the ozone layer is thinned, it has some of the harshest sun in the world, under which a person can easily burn. However, Sky & Sol sunscreen actually offered genuine protection in this situation for me, and I did not burn (even though my skin is so fair, and incredibly prone to burning!).
So this product not only has an appealing texture and blendability, it is actually a powerhouse skin protector.
Lucky I gave Sky & Sol a second chance after the first hiccup. This sunscreen is uniquely great, and I will likely continue to purchase it well into the future.
