Why do you use tallow in your lip jelly? Is it also eco-conscious or cruelty-free?
Tallow has many skin-loving properties. It's full of vitamins A, D, E, and K, all wonderful for skin health. Furthermore, it's similar to the oils our skin naturally produces, so it absorbs well and helps create a healthy skin barrier.
Also, tallow its one of the most environmentally friendly ingredients out there! Grass-fed tallow is produced with no pesticides, no fertilizers, and no industrial processing.
And for those claiming we are contributing to the killing of animals:
No rain forests or land is destroyed (like they are with seed oils).
And in fact, most tallow is thrown away, so by repurposing it, we are minimizing waste.
Will it smell or taste like beef?
We ensure it undergoes a rigorous purification process by filtering it over 10 times to remove any unpleasant odors. It also has no taste.
